It is with a sad heart that I share with you
that our friend and colleague, Steve Cornforth, passed away peacefully
while surrounded by his
loving family on Friday October 17th.
I first met Steve nine years ago and he has been a
great colleague and friend over the years since. His background in
Finance and Human Resources contributed to his effectiveness in
organizational consulting on various client projects. His intellectual
curiosity, combined with his thoughtfulness and humour endeared him to
many. On occasion my kids and I would run into him in the neighbourhood
while he pushed a stroller, being the ever-so-proud grandfather that he
was. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He will be forever remembered for his theoretical
interests along with his amazing wit and love of people. Above all, for
us at Excel Group, he will be remembered as a dear friend with whom we
were blessed to work.
We offer our condolences and prayers to his wife, Donna and children,
Jocelyn, Ward and Shelley and their families.
"One life soon will be passed. Only what's done in love will
last."
